Sherrie Hawk, Alumni + Career Services from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and I coordinated the RISD Midwest Exhibition 2007 which demonstrated the impact of RISD graduates on the dynamic terrain of the Midwest art and design scene. From over 200 entries, fourty-two pieces were selected from RISD alumni, regardless of major or year of graduation, living in one of the six states in the Midwest Region, including OH, MI, IN, PA, KY and WV. The exhibit was curated by Sherrie Hawk, Sherrie Gallerie, Columbus, Ohio.

The tournament benefits needy veterans, Paws for Patriots guide dogs, Haley House, and youth programs including Legion Baseball, College Scholarships, Special Olympics, and the Grade School Dictionary Program.

Identity developed for Standley Law Group LLP, Central Ohio's largest intellectual property firm. The firm wanted a distinctive "mark" that would identify their practice specialty. The mark "ip" was created by using traditional lettering ink and a paintbrush – a unique signature indeed.
